LOHAS Park MARINI
A private residential flat at LOHAS Park MARINI. Walnut finishes and dark green walls set the tone throughout; the main bedroom has a platform bed with full-height wardrobes, pushing the storage into the wall. Black-framed glass sliding doors close off one side of the kitchen, holding back the cooking fumes without blocking the light.
The platform bed and its storage are built as one piece, the edge continuing into a low counter; timber cabinetry pairs with dark green panelling, and the window light falls on the most comfortable spot at the bedhead.
A set of glass shelves is recessed into the wall for display, with photo frames, books and ornaments spread across the levels; the blank wall beside it carries a slim metal rail that does not compete with what is on show.
Black-framed glass sliding doors close the kitchen off on its own, with the hob and the built-in oven lined up in one straight run; pull the doors shut and the heat and cooking fumes stay inside.
The full-height timber-veneer units and the platform bed are built as one piece, and the ribbed doors draw the lines in tighter; a small wall light replaces the bedside lamp, and the black counter is left clear for everyday things.
A beige fluted upholstered headboard sits against a dark green wall, with a timber-faced tall unit tucked in at the side of the bed; the bedside table is narrowed to a black stone top, leaving room to walk on the window side.
The window side has been rebuilt as a white platform with storage, and daylight is drawn in along it; the walkway is narrower but does not feel tight, so a small flat is still comfortable to move around.
The second bedroom uses off-white cabinetry to keep the room from feeling closed in, with the desk running on from the bedside cabinet in one line; the open shelving beside it is left for books and ornaments.
