Bay View Garden
A private residential flat at Bay View Garden, in Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon. The children's room has two beds side by side with a low cabinet between them, and an upholstered headboard with reading lights; the wall is in ribbed panelling with pale timber shelves, and storage sits at the foot of the beds and underneath.

The two children's beds sit side by side, the upholstered headboards running into wall shelves so toys and photo frames each have a place; the reading lights switch separately, so one can sleep while the other reads.

Two beds sit side by side in the children's room, separated by a low cabinet so neither disturbs the other; upholstered headboards and reading lights give the last part of the evening somewhere to settle.

A full run of play counter is built along the window, looking out to the hills; the space below is left open for toy boxes, so tidying up takes a single movement.

The dark timber wardrobe runs full height, its doors divided by straight lines; a low unit at one end doubles as a seat for dressing, which keeps the movement easy.

The bathroom pairs timber-effect tiles with reeded glass, keeping the wet and dry areas clearly apart; a deep recess in the wall holds bottles, so no separate shelf is needed.
